Masha is from Russia and came to Israel for a bone marrow transplant at the Hadassah clinic. The treatment took place during the period of the coronovirus. Masha was a girl who taught us to be happy about little things. She never looked at the size of the gift. It was just the attention that mattered. She loved playing board games, sewing, drawing. Together with Daddy, she used to show us ballet and theater productions. Her ringing laughter rented the room and it seemed that not a single disease could not cope with her. Masha and her parents dreamed of going to the Wailing Wall and to the Biblical Zoo in Jerusalem. Despite the complete quarantine in Israel, the police gave us permission to go right up to the Wailing Wall. And the Zoo management immediately agreed to open the doors just for Masha's family. We remember and love Mashenka. She continues to live in the heart of our team.
